You say you want a man who is deep and intelligent, yet you joke about men being simple and “stupid”.

You say you want a man who respects your boundaries and limits, yet you refer to men being incapable of controlling their animalistic impulses.

You say you want a man who takes responsibility for his behavior and feelings, yet you talk about men being unable to understand or seek treatment for their own wounds and trauma.

You say you want a man who honors you as a partner and celebrates your strength, yet you joke about men being at the mercy of their fragile egos and need for competition.

You say you want a man to see you for everything you are and not just your body, yet you joke about men being lustful and incapable of anything but sexual desire.

You say you want a man who has empathy, emotions, and is in touch with himself, yet you refer to men as having simple, basic needs, lacking any real complexity or thought.

I CAN PROMISE YOU THIS:

If we keep reducing men to simple, stupid, apathetic, egotisical animals in our “harmless jokes” and demeaning beliefs, we will keep getting EXACTLY that experience of them.
